Allen and Jean Fasnacht fondly recall their childhood in the Hershey community.  They discuss attending Derry Township public schools and Hershey Junior College.  They recall the Community Building and all of the educational and recreational activities that were available.  Allen Fasnacht describes working for Monroe (Monty)  Stover at the locally owned Stover Candies, which became King Cup Candies.  The Fasnachts, along with their extended family, operated a picnic park, Willow Mill Park, near Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania and the amusement park, Funland, in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.  Additional topics include Milton Hershey’s philanthropies and work ethic, Mr. Fasnacht’s volunteer activities, and changes in the community and the Milton Hershey School in the latter half of the twentieth century.
