    A life-long resident of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Williams gives a detailed account of her family, childhood, and work history.  Williams, who began working for Hershey chocolate in 1984, discusses working on various production lines, including Miniatures and Giant Kiss, and her friendships with co-workers and managers.  In 2003, she moved to the West Plant.  She describes the variations between the main factory and the West Plant including: jobs performed, benefits, and racial composition.  As a union member and later a union representative, Williams explains how the union addresses conflicts between employees and affects working conditions.  She recounts the 2002 labor strike, her reaction to the contact negotiations, and the impact of CEO Richard Lenny.
