    Spangler discusses his childhood in Campbelltown, family life, education at Hershey High School, extra-curricular activities, and service in the Navy. Describes his career with Hershey Chocolate beginning as a storeroom clerk and ending as President of Hershey Chocolate Company.  In between, he held positions as factory supervisor, plant superintendent, assistant plant manager, and vice president of manufacturing and distribution.  Describes stockpiling cocoa beans and 1953 strike.
