    Tancredi's parents were Italian immigrants, also shares other family history.  Parents arrived in Hershey 1909.  Tancredi began working summers in Hershey Park at age 8.  Started at the chocolate factory in 1929, transferred to office while taking night classes.  Moved to Sales Records in 1931; describes first IBM machines installed during the 1920s.  Pursued education at Wharton Business School and Hershey Junior College while working.  Views on 1937, 1953 strikes.  Became supervisor of Tabulating Department, first computer installation in 1963.  Discusses all aspects of electronic record-keeping, payroll, Depts processing, computerization as it evolved over decades.  Retired as Director, Information Services.  Implemented Management Information System.  Reported to William Schiller.
